JAPAN GOLF TOUR 2017

Day 1:

Arrive Kawana, Japan

Flight arrival into Tokyo and meet and greet with your Host, Paul Sheehan.  Paul will drive the group from Tokyo to Kawana.
Staying at Kawana Prince Hotel.
Classic hotel established in 1928, Kawana Hotel warmly welcomes all golfers and non-golfers with fantastic views of the Pacific and with our beautiful 2 golf courses, which is one of the most well-known golf courses in Japan.

Day 2:

Play Golf at Kawana Fuji Course

Ranked within the top 100 golf courses in the world, Designed by C.H. Alison and opened in 1936, it is a distinguished course with long history and traditions. Putting to good use the rich natural features of the area, the 18 holes of the course flanked by a variety of deep bunkers have earned considerable acclaim in and outside the country, never failing to fascinate the golfers.

Day 3:

Play Golf at Kawana Oshima Course

The 18 holes are a truly grand location with the magnificent blue sea and the sky of Sagami Bay colorfully decorating the background.
In the afternoon, the group will be travel with the Host to Hakone and stay at Hotel De Yama. A classic and authentic resort hotel with a healing experience and a view of Lake Ashi.

Day 4:

Rest Day

Today is a chance to relax and enjoy some of the many great sights that the Hakone region has to offer.

Day 5:

Play Golf at Visa Taiheiyo Golf Course

Imagine an experience that is better than the best: a level of excellence that reaches so high it can only be called Top of the Top. Grand vistas framing majestic fairways, immaculate greens forever preened to prime condition. That is the universe awaiting golfers who experience the Taiheiyo Club Japan.

Day 6:

Play Golf at Fujikogen Golf Course

Opened on August 27, 1960 this course if located at the base of Mt. Fuji and provides golf and sightseeing combined.  Surrounded by the natural beauty of Mt. Fuji and the Fuji Highlands, this course can be enjoyed by both avid and weekend golfers alike. Therein lies more challenges than visually appear, with relatively flat undulating fairways and greens that can catch you off guard. The front nine has several par 4s that are over 400 yards long, causing most to change their strategy hole by hole. The back nine may appear to be shorter in yardage, but with the narrow mature pine tree lined fairways, you will feel the challenge off the tee on most holes.

Day 7:

Play Golf at Fujizakura Country Club

Accommodation for the night at Hotel De Yama.

Day 8:

Transfer to airport and flight departure

Your Host will drive the group from Hakone to Tokyo airport for your departing flights.

 

Host

In 2003, Paul made a sensational impact in Japan recording five top 10 finishes including runner up the Suntory Open and Bridgestone Open. He followed up with an even stronger 2004 with victories at the Fujisankei Classic in May and the season ending Golf Nippon Series JT Cup to finish 4th on the JGTO Money List. 2005 was yet another successful year with four top three finishes. In October 2006 Paul secured his biggest title of his career to date, winning the Japan Open Championship.

With a career spanning over 13 years on the Japan Tour and winning some of the biggest tournaments on offer, Paul has now shifted his focus to showing people why he fell in love with Japan. Paul will get you access and introduce you to some of Japan’s best courses, take you to award winning restaurants and showcase some of Japan’s endearing and unique culture.
